Blur effects

Motiff supports adding Layer blur and Background blur to your design.

Layer blur adds an illusion of motion or depth to static two-dimensional designs. It is commonly used to soften or hide specific details, draw focus away from the background, transform images into abstract and soft backgrounds, or simulate camera depth-of-field effects.

When Background blur is applied to a layer, Motiff blurs the content behind it, helping to soften or reduce visual focus on the background. This technique effectively directs attention toward the foreground. For the blur effect to be visible, the layer’s opacity must be set between 0.2% and 99.99%; it becomes invisible at 100% opacity. To achieve the desired result, you need to adjust both the blur property of the background blur and the opacity of the layer.
